1. Site owner

This website (grupodermlungd.com) is operated and published by Grupo Dermlun GD, SRL (hereinafter, “Grupo Dermlun”, “the Company”, “we” or “the Owner”), a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Dominican Republic and specialized in high-precision CNC machining and the fabrication and reconstruction of industrial parts.

Accessing, browsing or otherwise using this site constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of this Legal Notice. If you do not agree with any of the terms set forth herein, please refrain from using the site.

2. Purpose

The purpose of this site is to provide information about the services offered by Grupo Dermlun — tooling and component fabrication, industrial maintenance and repair, and high-precision CNC machining — and to give prospective clients a channel to request quotes, submit technical requirements and contact our workshop team.

The site does not constitute a binding commercial offer. Any contractual relationship between Grupo Dermlun and a client is formalised exclusively through a signed quote or separate written agreement.

3. Acceptance and amendments

Use of the site implies full acceptance of this Legal Notice as in force at the time of access. Grupo Dermlun reserves the right to modify, expand or update its content at any time without prior notice. The last revision date is always shown at the top of the document.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All content published on this site — including, without limitation, text, photographic and video material, illustrations, diagrams, logos, trade names, registered or unregistered trademarks, typefaces, colour schemes, graphic compositions, source code, compiled code, database structures and any other protectable element — constitutes work protected by Dominican Law 65-00 on Copyright and Law 20-00 on Industrial Property, as well as by applicable international treaties.

All rights in such content belong to Grupo Dermlun GD, SRL or to its respective licensors. The reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation, reverse engineering or any other form of exploitation — in whole or in part, free of charge or not, on any medium known or to be known — is expressly prohibited without the prior written consent of the Owner.

Third-party trademarks that may appear on the site (client logos, equipment manufacturers, technology platforms) are the property of their respective owners; their mention does not imply sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement.

5. Confidentiality of drawings and technical files

Drawings, CAD models, photographs of parts, technical specifications and any other documents voluntarily provided by the user when requesting a quote will be treated as confidential information. Grupo Dermlun undertakes to use them solely for the purpose of the requested quote and not to disclose them to third parties without the sender's consent, except where required by law.

At the client's request, Grupo Dermlun can execute a specific non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before initiating detailed technical conversations.

6. User conduct and prohibited uses

The user undertakes to:

  • Use the site in accordance with the law, morality, good practice and this Legal Notice.
  • Not alter, damage or overload the site's infrastructure, nor attempt to access restricted areas, third-party accounts, non-public source code or protected information.
  • Not use the site to disseminate unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable content.
  • Not engage in automated scraping, mass content extraction, reverse engineering or the introduction of viruses, trojans or any malicious code.
  • Not impersonate third parties, nor use the contact form to send unsolicited communications (spam) or for any purpose other than those set out in section 2.

Any conduct contrary to the above may give rise to civil and criminal action under Dominican Law 53-07 on High-Tech Crimes and Offences and the rest of Dominican law. Grupo Dermlun reserves the right to block access to the site and to report abusive behaviour to the competent authorities.

7. Site availability

Grupo Dermlun makes reasonable efforts to keep the site continuously available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Events such as scheduled maintenance, hosting-provider failures, denial-of-service attacks, connectivity outages or force-majeure events may cause temporary interruptions for which the Company assumes no liability.

8. External links

The site may include links or references to web pages operated by third parties (social-media platforms, mapping services, messaging tools and others). Such links are provided for reference or user convenience only. Grupo Dermlun is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, security or availability of linked sites, and their inclusion does not imply recommendation, sponsorship or endorsement.

9. Limitation of liability

Information published on the site is offered in good faith and with the intention of being accurate and current. However, Grupo Dermlun does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency or fitness for a particular purpose of such information. Descriptions of capabilities, equipment, processes, tolerances or materials shown on the site are indicative only and do not constitute a contractual commitment until the Company issues a formal signed quote.

To the maximum extent permitted by Dominican law, Grupo Dermlun shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost business opportunity, lost data or any other harm arising from access to or use of the site, from reliance on its content, or from the inability to access it.

10. Indemnity

The user agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Grupo Dermlun, its shareholders, directors, employees and collaborators against any claim, demand, sanction or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the user's breach of this Legal Notice or improper use of the site.

11. Assignment

Grupo Dermlun may assign the rights and obligations arising from this Legal Notice in the context of corporate transactions (merger, demerger, sale of assets or change of control), notifying the user adequately on the site. The user may not assign their rights without the Company's written consent.

12. Severability

If any clause of this Legal Notice is declared null, invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, such declaration shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. For the resolution of any dispute arising from access to or use of the site, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, waiving any other forum that might apply to them.
